Your Questions, Answered

  • Yes, at this time, I am only licensed in Illinois.

  • I always recommend starting with at least 4-6 weeks committed to weekly sessions. This will allow us time to get to know each other and build a solid foundation. After that point, we can decide together on the frequency that best suits your needs, schedule, and finances.

  • I am in-network with BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, United Healthcare PPO, and also offer superbills for clients who would like to utilize out-of-network benefits.

My self-pay rates are as follows:

    • Individual intake: $175 per session

    • Individual ongoing: $165 per session

    • Couple or family intake: $175 per session

    • Couple or family ongoing $175 per session

If you do not have insurance and cost is a concern for you, I offer select sliding scale rates based on income level. Please reach out for more details.

  • If appointments are not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, they are subject to the full session fee. For insurance clients, this will be the full amount that insurance reimburses, not your copay amount.

  • Confidentiality is incredibly important to me as a therapist. All sessions are confidential, with 4 caveats.

    1. I am a mandated reporter, which means I am required to report child or elder abuse.

    2. Confidentiality may also be broken if a client is determined to be at risk of harming themselves or others. More on this here.

    3. If you are involved in a legal case, the courts may order that your medical records be shared.

    4. If you choose to use insurance to pay for sessions, I am required by insurance companies to provide a diagnosis from the DSM-5-TR as well as provide brief process notes for each session.
